We work closely with local schools and colleges across the Southwest to find like-minded young adults who’re interested in hands-on training whilst also seeking to put their skills to practice with theory and academic study.
100% of our apprentices to date have completed their qualifications and taken up a permanent role at Sycamore, allowing them to continuously strive and achieve great things within their careers with us. Be it Welding and Fabrication, CAD Engineering, Business Administration or Sales, we have high expectations of our apprentices. We believe that every one of them deserves excellence in their training provision, and it is our apprentices’ dedication to excel with Sycamore that awarded us with the Made in the Southwest: Manufacturing Apprenticeship/Training Scheme Award in 2022; whilst one of our very own apprentices took home the Somerset Business Award for Apprentice of the Year 2023 for outstanding efforts in their Design Apprenticeship.
