New dryer for Express Contract Drying

In 2015 Sycamore provided a mechanical fabrication and installation service for Express Contract Drying (ECD), the largest independent spray dryer of food flavours and colours in the UK.

Sycamore fabricated and installed many of the major items of plant and equipment including a three storey operator/access platform in accordance with ECD’s design instructions and URS.  The project was completed on schedule, within budget and with minimal disruption.

The majority of fabrication and sub assembly work was undertaken in Sycamore’s own workshop before transportation to site, positioning and installation.  Commissioning was undertaken by ECD and the plant’s performance exceeded expectations.
